Kimi’s Kitchen: An Ocean Woman’s Guide to Wild Home Cooking is a Hawaii-inspired seafood cookbook by Kimi Werner. Every copy available here is hand-signed by Kimi Werner, making this a limited, collectible cookbook from her recent in-store signing event.

Raised on Maui, Kimi grew up diving and cooking alongside her family, learning the connection between ocean, food, and community. Today, she is one of the world’s most respected spearfishers, known for her sustainable, catch-to-table approach to cooking fresh fish.

This cookbook features more than 80 ocean-inspired recipes, including simple fried fish, her family’s Ugly Dumplings, and fresh lettuce wraps. Each recipe focuses on simple techniques and flexible ingredients, making it easy to cook seafood and everyday meals at home.

Created with filmmaker Nicole Gormley and food writer Jennifer Fiedler, the book blends storytelling, culture, and cooking. With over 100 photos, Kimi’s Kitchen is both a practical seafood cookbook and a look at a lifestyle rooted in Hawai‘i, sustainability, and connection to nature.
